Marshal Garza, Maggie Garza,

Marshal Garza show off his scissors and his handiwork after cutting off five inches of his mom's hair.

Maggie Garza had meant to get a haircut before her Spring Break ski trip (which was ultimately cancelled). But she never made it to her salon and, as the weeks passed during the stay-at-home order, Maggie really needed a haircut. Maggie had a grooming set already, meant to trim her sons’ hair from time to time. She decided to enlist their help. Her youngest son, Marshal, a fourth grader at St. Vincent de Paul, accepted the challenge. Maggie showed Marshal where to cut, and he confidently cut his mom’s hair and even dried it before heading back outside to play basketball. Pictured are Marshal and Maggie.
