Briargrove Elementary School’s annual fall carnival went through a makeover this year. Changes included being moved to Friday afternoon (from Saturday) and a new Halloween theme. Booths included the Zombie Zone, Dracula's Dungeon, the legendary Dad's Club Haunted House and the Dr. Mike Mizell Monster Mash. The carnival was held on the same day as Game 3 of the World Series, so carnival chairs Greer Dexter, Ashley Beck and Stephanie Wise (pictured, from left) dressed in their Astros attire to show their spirit.
