The Big Day

More than 440 students from Stratford High School participated in the school’s inaugural The Big Day, which was modeled loosely after Texas A&M’s Big Event. The Big Day involved students from different organizations and clubs within the school coming together to serve the community. The biggest project this year was painting the shopping-center wall that borders Stratford’s practice fields, Spartan Green. Students also helped local businesses with projects, did yard work at local homes, and volunteered for the organization Kids’ Meals. The Dairy Ashford Revitalization Team (DART) and Stratford’s Leadership Council headed the efforts.
